The American Freedom Softball Club and DFW Express have announced a joint cooperation agreement that includes a former NCAA Div. II national champion head coach Kevin Blaskowski assuming oversight of all American Freedom teams.
Blaskowski joined DFW Express as director of softball in October 2017 after a 25-five-year career as one of the top collegiate head coaches in NCAA Div. II, including winning the 2014 NCAA Div. II National Championship while at West Texas A&M University.
Make no mistake: the American Freedom Express is different than most "national programs." Founded in 2006 as a single 12u team, the American Freedom grew into one of the country's top travel softball clubs with more than 40 teams and players from eight states because we remained committed to one simple principle:
"To compete as a national-level program committed to helping every player who remains committed to our philosophy get recruited to the 'right fit' for that player without regard to division of play."
In short, we believe we can be successful at the national level AND remain loyal to our players; committed to player development; and successful at college recruiting that makes sense for our players and their families. READ MORE
American Freedom Express teams will always seek to play nationally and regionally in the best tournaments and showcases against national-level competition, where we regularly compete on the main complexes and fields in front of college coaches representing the SEC, PAC12, Big XII, Big 10, ACC, Conference USA, Sunbelt, Southland, WAC, and most every other major NCAA Div. I, Div. II, Div. II, NAIA, and JUCO conference. There is no college coach in front of which our players do not have a fair chance to be seen.
